A Boston brownstone undergoing conversion to condominiums brought my client to the spacious top floor. The space was huge, raw and it appeared to be a daunting task to wrest a warm family oriented home as well as meet the high expectations of clients who like to entertain. By recovering existing doors, trim and fireplaces being discarded in other parts of the building and restoring and re-purposing materials the new space evokes a sense of place with its fine elements from the past and is yet modern and full of amenities.
